Is breakfast included?
Yes, the price of all rooms at the lodge include a delicious homemade breakfast - one breakfast plate per guest per night stay. The breakfast menu can be accessed here. Upon check-in, our staff will ask for your breakfast order and preferred time for the morning. Please advise the staff of any dietary restrictions or allergies upon check-in - Cliff House is happy to accommodate special requests! A continental style breakfast selection is also included with your breakfast order including coffee, tea, orange juice, fruit and a variety of bread and bagels.
Additional breakfast plates may be purchased for $15 per plate.
How do I get to the Cliff House Lodge?
We are in the heart of Morrison, CO, located just off of Mt. Vernon/Hogback. You will see a large archway sign that says "Cliff House Lodge & Hot Tub Cottages" that begins our private gravel drive.
If you are checking during business hours 8am-8pm, please park wherever you see an open space and check in with our staff in the main lodge. Keep an eye out for #1873 over the front door. Our staff will then guide you to your assigned parking space.
If you are checking in after business hours, please inform our staff ahead of time and keep an eye out in your e-mail for instructions on where to park and how to access your cottage.
Is there parking on-site?
Yes - each cottage is equipped with its own dedicated parking spot.
Does every room come with an outdoor hot tub?
Out of our 8 cottages, 6 come with private outdoor hot tubs. The other two rooms, Zen & Sail Away, have indoor jacuzzis. (The Camelot cottage comes with both!)
Do you provide a shuttle to Red Rocks?
On show nights, we offer an on-site shuttle service on the way up to Red Rocks Amphitheatre! The shuttle leaves 15 minutes before posted door times each night. It is a $10 suggested donation per person, and availability is first-come first-serve.
If you are also in need of a ride back to the lodge after the show, private drivers are available on-site. All private rides must be booked in advance by contacting our team at (720) 837-1653. Additional information is available here.
If you do not wish to take advantage of the private drivers, you may take a rideshare (Uber/Lyft) or walk back on the Trading Post Trail. Google Maps walking directions can be accessed on your phone.
Remember to bring a flashlight, have a charged phone, and stay aware of your surroundings if you do choose to walk back! We are up in the mountains and there is plenty of wildlife. The walk back to the Cliff House is about a 35 to 45 minute trip and it’s all downhill. It is a fun adventure!
Is Cliff House a cannabis friendly property?
Yes, we are! Guests are welcome to smoke anywhere on the property except in the cottages themselves. - they are historic and we do our best to keep them looking their best! All that is asked is respect for the space, and to dispose of any related litter or trash in the appropriate places.
Cliff House Lodge adheres to all local laws and regulations regarding the consumption of cannabis. Cannabis products are not sold on the property. Smoking within the cottages may incur additional fees.
What are some good places to check out nearby?
Besides being home to the historic Cliff House Lodge, Morrison is full of little shops and restaurants! If you’re looking for quality coffee or lattes, Morrison Joe is a short walk away. Mill Street, The Hungry Goat, and a couple other great restaurants are right on Morrison Road. The Red Rocks Trail is great for a beautiful, sunny afternoon hike that isn’t too difficult.
