We stayed at the Camelot Cottage and overall had a great experience. The cottage is cozy, and in a great location for enjoying Morrison. It has a lot of charm and feels like a relaxing getaway.<br>One memorable detail, there’s a beautiful white dog that freely roams the property. Very friendly and adds to the rustic vibe… however, it also turns out this dog is the real culprit behind an overnight mystery smell. My wife repeatedly accused me of being the source, only for us to discover actual dog turds behind our bed the next morning. My name has now been officially cleared.<br>Also worth mentioning, the breakfast was delicious, classic bacon and eggs done right, and a perfect way to start the morning.<br>One friendly warning, be careful with the first few steps out of the tub. The floor can be slick, and my wife nearly went down fresh out of a soak. Nothing humbles a man faster than imagining having to help his naked wife off the floor before coffee. We survived, laughed, and learned.<br>Overall, despite the canine surprise and slippery floors, we enjoyed our stay and would recommend Camelot Cottage
Great place close to town. To stay. Hot tubs. A lot of history. Place is older than all of us on earth. The cook made a great breakfast in the morning. And we loved the dog. It could open doors as it wanted to go in and out. Very great service.
I spent 6 hours scouring the internet trying to find just the right place for a staycation in Colorado. I kept landing back on the Cliff House Lodge and I decided to jump in and I am so glad I did. This is now my favorite place to stay in Colorado. The Rose Cottage was clean and quiet and the hot tub was private. The food was hot, the dogs were charming, the staff was wonderful and the atmosphere was perfect. We are already talking about booking another trip back and we will be happy to stay in the Rose Cottage again.
Husband and I are local, but we definitely found our go-to staycation BnB. The vibe was absolutely amazing. And this charcuterie board and champagne was a wonderful afternoon snack. It was a great stay to ring in my 40th and we will absolutely be back.
Our stay here was fantastic; the private Jacuzzi along with the mountain ambience really made this stay special. I had to deduct points on the room for cleanliness, but there is no way I could not give a five star overall. Thank you for having us; most importantly being so kind and welcoming to my service dog. 🥰✨
We had the absolute best time at Cliff House Lodge. This historic home was the perfect place to stay for a show at Red Rocks! The entire staff took such good care of us and the breakfasts prepared fresh by Nico and Brooks each day were the best meals we had on this trip. Mr. Dog and Shakti were the perfect companions when lounging on the eclectically cozy porch with our coffee or sitting in the gorgeous dinning room. We loved our cabin, Stone Street, with its many patios and outdoor seating areas and the hot tub was our favorite way to decompress each night. It truly that felt like home. Could not more highly recommend this quirky, homey, welcoming place to stay on your next trip to Red Rocks.
Have stayed in almost every room and each time it’s an unforgettable experience we love staring at Cliff House and can’t wait for our next stay!!
